South Africa has been at it since 1994. Transformation is not an easy task. We have been engaging for more than twenty years attempting to change and revolutionize South African Education. One of the most difficult choices for the black developmental state has been between ACCESS & QUALITY. Doing "justice" to both is a near impossible task because of its huge costs and resources...a necessary revolutionary choice. Government funding has targeted ACCESS. I am of the opinion that we need another ten years to get ACCESS right. QUALITY (arriving at new African-based standards) may then be redefined and implemented. What is your view?
