Newsletter 13 Underdevelopment & Colonialism


More than 300 years of alienation and underdevelopment caused by colonialism, imperialism, apartheid and neo-liberalism has had a devastating effect on our human resource development and human capital. Research on the future of schooling and the economy the year post 2020 will require more and better workforce skilled in the field of biological engineering and information and communications technology. It is the year 2015, twenty one years since we elected a democratic government and we still struggle to drop the yoke of underdevelopment. Whilst keeping an eye on the present, given the context of the past another struggle is preparing for the future; what an awesome demand...dealing with the past in the present with another focus on the future.
